I. Introduction.
I. Introduction.
I enjoy working! And I am grateful for my Job!
I’ve had the chance to work in some of the tallest buildings in San Francisco, and enjoy some amazing views!
God has been good to me!
Still, if I had the choice, I would not work in the city.
Was it up to me, I’d be living in the country.
Somewhere between 101 and the coast.
A homestead on one of our Green, rolling hills, somewhere between 101 and the coast.
And when you come visit me, you’d find T and I feeding the chickens or the pigs or mucking out barn stalls.
The fact is:
I like the country! I am not fussy labout things like being dirty.
IN fact, I have a hard time trusting anyone who;s ve ner had dirt under their frqkenviled I like working hard and falling into bed echausted but proud. I like drinking strong coffee on the porch, wiht frost on the grass and the sun comiin up replaccde with strougn nouns.
I grew up country. sixe of ca, but only 2 M people.
my class mated came from working families.
adelbertus madi was one kid that came to school. not all kids could. and one day he got a dressing down I wont soon forget: YOUr parents should have left you with the sheep and sent one of your brothers or sisters to school instead.
9th grade was the best for me, my favorite. we learned about soil erkosion and basic agriculture and animal science.
One thing I learned that really made sense was rotational grazing
Rotational grazing is the practice of containing and moving animals through pasture to improve soil, plant, and animal health.
Only one portion of pasture is grazed at a time while the remainder of the pasture “rests.”
To accomplish this, pastures are subdivided into smaller areas, referred to as paddocks, and livestock are moved from one paddock to another.
Resting grazed paddocks allows forage plants to recover and deepen their root systems.
before, if you were not of the commonwealth of israwl, you were out of luck. NO green lucious grass for you! only brambles and bitterness and no salvation! If you were descneded from Japheth, or other son, you did not get the provision that God had vor His special people.
But now you have an inheritance!
God was saving the best stuff for later!!!!
